TrackHQ

How does Sync shipments work?

Understand automatic sync and manual sync behavior in TrackHQ.

TrackHQ can automatically sync fulfilled Shopify orders that already have tracking numbers. This helps reduce manual work because new fulfilled shipments can be added to TrackHQ for tracking without extra steps.

Note: After installation, TrackHQ may need some time to sync your existing orders. Please wait patiently while the first sync completes.

If a shipment shows a Not Found status, it usually means the carrier has not returned tracking events yet, the tracking number was recently created, or the carrier/tracking number combination is not ready to track.

What orders are synced after first installation?

For new users, TrackHQ automatically syncs Shopify orders shipped within the last 7 days. After that, new fulfilled orders from your store are also synchronized to TrackHQ for tracking.

Note: The Shipments feature can only sync order data that already has fulfilled tracking numbers. It cannot sync orders that have not been fulfilled yet or orders that do not have tracking numbers.

Sync historical orders

You can manually sync older shipments from the Shipments page:

  1. Click Sync Orders in the upper-right corner of the Shipments page.
  2. Select a time range based on the fulfillment time.
  3. Wait for the sync to finish.

Manual sync can take 1-10 minutes depending on your order volume.

Note: To avoid confusing customers with outdated emails for previous shipments, TrackHQ does not send status change emails for the first shipment status update received for manually synchronized shipments.
