How does billing work? What plans are available?

Detailed quota and billing-cycle rules for TrackHQ plans.

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your current plan at any time. Choose the subscription plan that best fits your business needs.

Package subscription process

  1. Log in to TrackHQ and open Billing & Plans.
  2. Select package and billing cycle.
  3. Complete payment. The package takes effect immediately.

Basic billing rules

  • First-time subscription: charged immediately and activated immediately.
  • Auto-renewal: charges attempt 24 hours before period end.
  • Refunds: partial refunds are not supported after package activation (exceptions may apply for platform/system failures).

Upgrade billing rules

Monthly to monthly

  • Charged by prorated difference for remaining cycle.
  • Formula: Upgrade Fee = Original Monthly Fee + (New Monthly Fee - Original Monthly Fee) × (Remaining Days ÷ Total Days in Cycle)

Monthly to yearly

  • Switches directly to yearly billing.
  • Unused monthly quota is typically cleared.
  • New 365-day cycle starts on upgrade date.

Yearly to yearly

  • Same prorated rule as monthly to monthly.

Downgrade billing rules

Downgrades apply at the end of the current cycle and no price-difference refund is issued.

Monthly to monthly

  • Keep current higher-tier benefits until cycle end.
  • Downgraded monthly plan activates on renewal.

Yearly to monthly

  • Keep yearly benefits until cycle end.
  • Monthly plan begins after expiration.

Yearly to yearly

  • Same principle as monthly-to-monthly downgrade.

Plan changes and cancellation

  • Change plan: Billing page → choose plan → approve subscription in Shopify.
  • Cancel plan: Billing page → cancel subscription.

Important notes

  • Upgrades take effect immediately.
  • Downgrades/cancellations take effect at cycle end.
  • Shopify billing policies govern final app charge behavior.
