TrackHQ

What is Tracking Quota? How is tracking quota calculated?

What is Tracking Quota?

1 shipment = 1 Tracking Quota.

TrackHQ uses Tracking Quota when it successfully registers a shipment for tracking. A shipment is created from a fulfilled Shopify order that has a tracking number.

1 Tracking Quota is used when:

  • A new tracking number is added to a fulfilled Shopify order.
  • For each manually synced orders from the Shipments page.
  • You update a tracking number after it has already been tracked.
  • You change the carrier later

If you update the tracking number or carrier for an existing shipment, TrackHQ counts it as a new shipment because the new tracking/carrier combination must be registered again with the tracking provider.

Tracking Quota is NOT used when:

  • Customers view their order on your tracking page.
  • TrackHQ sends email notifications.
  • TrackHQ performs automatic sync for last 7 days after installation.
Note: If you cannot locate an order on the TrackHQ shipments page, check whether the order has been fulfilled in Shopify and has a tracking number.

What happens when Tracking Quota runs out?

On the Starter plan, TrackHQ stops accepting new tracked shipments once the included quota is exhausted for the current billing period.

On paid plans (Growth and Advanced), TrackHQ will continue tracking additional shipments after you reach your limit. Each additional shipment will incur a small extra charge, and your total extra charges will never exceed the spending limit you’ve set.

Can TrackHQ warn me before quota runs out?

Yes. TrackHQ can send an admin email when your Tracking Quota is getting low. You can change the email address or turn the alert off from the Billing page.
